The Resumator is excited to announce that we have been accepted for the 2013 SXSW Interactive Festival this coming March in Austin. SXSW received more than 3300 proposals so we are thrilled with being recognized and being one of 450 selected for the 2013 lineup.

The Real Problem With Hiring: It’s Way Too Easy!

Don Charlton, CEO and Founder, of The Resumator will lead a session called “The Real Problem With Hiring: It’s Way Too Easy.” Don said, “I am passionate about this topic because I walk a mile in my customers shoes every day.” In this Core Conversation session, Don will discuss common hiring challenges faced by fast growing businesses.

When Entrepreneurs Have to Hire

According to SXSW, Core Conversations are a lot more interactive than the traditional panel format and very popular with conference attendees. Core Conversation leaders actively engage and guide their audience in a lively discussion. The session will be an opportunity for small business owners and entrepreneurs to share their pain pain points associated with hiring and get some great advice.

When busy entrepreneurs are deputized into hiring managers, it’s way easier to hire someone decent than someone they’d give up their own salary to have and not even know what they’re missing. Hiring is a cruel process whether or not you keep high standards. The #2 candidate still doesn’t have a job. So how can entrepreneurs with little HR experience be positive they’re picking the right person to join them? By making hiring as simple as it really is?

The Resumator is thrilled to be among the 2013 SXSW Interactive panelists, which include some of the most innovative cutting-edge technology companies in the world today.

We hope to see you at SXSW 2013 next March!
