Weebly is a simple, free and easy to use service that allows anyone to create their own website, blog, store or online presence in minutes. In October, 20 million people visited a Weebly website, and we currently have close to 3 million registered users and are growing rapidly. We've received funding from Y Combinator, Ron Conway, Mike Maples, Aydin Senkut, Rajeev Motwani, and Paul Buchheit.

What we are looking for: an intern to help us with customer satisfaction and marketing

We are looking for an intern to work closely with the team at Weebly in helping out with various high-impact tasks:

  • increase revenues by reviewing current practices and producing suggestions for improvement
  • increasing customer satisfaction by intelligently and thoughtfully responding to customer suggestions, requests for help, and complaints
  • research supporting our online marketing efforts
  • monitoring daily transactions and identifying fraud
  • review sites for inclusion as featured sites, and those flagged as spam
  • monitor blog posts and comments, provide thoughtful responses, and remove spam
  • talk to our users about suggestions they have for improving the site

We are a small, fun and agile team, and your opinions on new marketing ideas for Weebly will be valued by the whole team. Your work will directly impact our success, and will be used by millions of people.


You will be:

  • excited about learning about the atmosphere in a successful web 2.0 startup, and interested in entrepreneurship
  • constantly thinking of ways to improve the service
  • self motivated
  • able to work from our offices in San Francisco, just north of the financial district and close to BART
  • available to work with us a minimum of 20 hours a week for 7+ weeks.

Marketing, entrepreneurial, and general web experience is a plus, but not essential.

This is an unpaid internship position.  However:
