Why should I switch to The Resumator when email is free?
You should switch because you will save time and money. It’s not true that there’s no cost to collecting resumes through email. All that time spent downloading, sorting, printing and copying resumes—not to mention the time sitting in meetings discussing applicants—costs money. The Resumator automates, eliminates or simplifies all these tasks. The Resumator also gets you free traffic to your job listings, and last time we checked, email doesn't do that!
Where is my data stored, and how is it secured?
We take the security of your data very seriously. Our servers are professionally managed at a Tier 4 data center by a highly-reputable, high-end hosting provider that has been in business for over a decade. We also use Amazon’s S3 storage technology to serve and store files. Finally, your billing information is stored on PCI compliant servers managed by Authorize.net, long considered a leader in online billing.
Is my data backed up in case of an emergency?
Yes. Your data is backed up nightly to multiple locations and can be restored in the event of an emergency. Our system uptime is 99%.
Can I change plans at any time?
Yes. Upgrade or downgrade any time.
What happens if my subscription lapses?
New resumes will be routed to an email address you choose. You will NEVER lose access to your previously collected resumes.
How do you get traffic to my job openings?
The Resumator is connected to large, free job aggregators that syndicate your jobs to millions of job seekers. If you write a good job description, you'll get good exposure and incoming resumes for a much lower cost than posting to big job sites. There's also no risk to trying it out!
How are you different than Monster, CareerBuilder and Yahoo! HotJobs?
We make it so you never really need to post to these expensive job sites again. For the price of just one job posting on those job sites, you can subscribe to The Resumator and post multiple jobs for two years!
How many jobs and resumes can I create?
While you can create an unlimited number of jobs and resumes in your account, the number of jobs you can publish is based on your subscription plan. Our Free Plan enables you to publish one job listing at a time, and we offer subscription plans for more jobs starting at only $9 per month.
Can I still get the original version of the resume?
Yes. The Resumator stores the original resume file. You can download it at any time.
Do you provide phone support?
We provide unlimited email support for all our customers, but currently we do not offer phone support. We strive to answer every email within an hour, if not fifteen minutes. Our customers have frequently complimented us for our speedy response.
Are there any termination fees or hidden fees?
No. On subscription plans, you are only responsible for your monthly fee. You can cancel any time and the billing will stop immediately.
How do you handle refunds?
You are responsible for charges until you cancel. We do not prorate months.
