Under the general supervision of the Registrar, the Collections Database Coordinator manages The Museum System (TMS) database and ensures the proper and consistent entry and maintenance of all data related to the Permanent Collection of Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art (CBMAA). The Collections Database Coordinator also works closely with the IT Department to ensure effective use of TMS institution-wide. The Collections Database Coordinator may serve as supervisor to one or more positions and/or volunteers.

Position Summary
The Creative Services Manager will provide strategic and operational management for creative design, marketing, and production of print and electronic publications produced by the Museum, including coordination of resources, project management, workflow, and review process and approvals management. Position Summary
The Head of Public Programs will be a seasoned interpretation specialist and museum educator, holding a supervisory position that includes a substantial amount of direct public contact. - Define and administer strategies for building, launching and maintaining the inaugural membership and guest services program including strategies to identify and solicit member prospects; work with development staff in design of members’ benefit structure.
- Ongoing - upgrade and renew members; increase member retention and oversee the population and maintenance of membership and guest databases.
- Design and build the Member and Guest Service department by effectively hiring, supervising, and evaluating well-qualified staff. Work with team to create a positive guest experience at the Museum through communication, hospitality, information, and service. Demonstrate a high level of professional courtesy when interacting with members, visitors, and co-workers, as well as phone etiquette. Lead staff in promoting a positive, synergetic, and collaborative team effort within the Membership and Guest Services Department; and by setting the example in a friendly and assertive tone when servicing guests, promoting membership, and troubleshooting.
- Work with Creative Services team to generate member and on-site guest marketing materials and communications. Coordinate and manage Museum representation and membership promotions at community and civic events, as well as onsite Museum events.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of all levels of membership and each level’s respective benefits. Uphold and sustain policies tied to membership benefits. Keep abreast and clearly relay information to members and guests regarding current and future exhibitions, events, educational programs, lectures, and the like.
- Responsible for arranging coverage and coordinating the scheduling for the Guest Services staff with the Guest Services Coordinator, based on projected visitation. Oversee the hiring, training, counseling, performance appraisals, and necessary disciplinary action when needed. Coordinate volunteer needs and duties relating to Guest Services and Membership.
- Provide analysis and reporting of visitation trends, sales, promotions, and projections to the Director of Museum Relations.
- Work collaboratively with Museum Relations leadership and department managers to deliver excellent service to the Museum staff, members and guests.
Minimum Qualifications
Education, Training, and Traits:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution of higher education
- Ability to use good judgment, focus attention on detail, and demonstrate skills in organization and recruitment required
- Must be able to work under pressure and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to understand and maintain the highest levels of confidentiality
- Highest ethics as they relate to all aspects of museum practices
- Knowledge of museum operations is preferred
- Academic training and/or specific work experience in marketing, customer service and promotions preferred.

Work Experience:
- Seasoned manager with five or more years of direct experience.
- Previous sales/customer service experience required with demonstrated outstanding customer service skills. Experience in community or customer relations
- Supervisory experience and background in cash management and budgetary accountability.
- Strong background in development, marketing, customer service and promotions preferred.

Position Summary
The Public Relations Manager is responsible for the overall management of strategy, planning and execution of public relations campaigns and communications programs and initiatives to increase public understanding of and support for the Museum’s mission and goals.
