CollegeBite.com, Pittsburgh’s largest free website for ordering food online, is looking for outgoing and enthusiastic students to become our Campus Brand Managers. When you become a Campus Brand Manager, you help execute our public relations strategy.
We are seeking a smart, highly-motivated social media expert actively engaging in Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, blogs, etc... Good writing and communication skills are a must. Experience putting together events and campaigns is desired.
As part of your internship, you will gain valuable web marketing experience. You’ll be responsible for marketing CollegeBite’s services through social media. Likewise, you’ll be in charge of coordinating and advertising CollegeBite promotional events on campus.
This is a paid internship with a commitment of 20 hours a month for three academic months. This internship is only available during the academic year.

Fooala is a local web startup building the next generation of web applications and services for connecting restaurants and other inherently local businesses to their customers. We do work with e-commerce, social networks, distributed/cloud computing using AWS, web spidering, and data mining.
Fooala is looking for talented, entrepreneurial developer interns familiar with modern web application development practices. We work hard and fast, so to keep up you'll need to be able to think and work independently, solve complex problems, and deliver quality results undertight deadlines.
Specifically, we like to see experience with things like:
- Ruby on Rails, or other MVC web frameworks, writing clean, idiomatic, well-tested code
- HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (jQuery) that is standards-based and semantically meaningful
- REST, and RESTful API design
- source code version control (Git), bug tracking software (Lighthouse), and other development team collaboration tools
- deep knowledge of sailing theory and practice
