Marketing Manager

Position Summary:
This position is responsible for managing the development of the company's marketing and lead generation programs. The role will include responsibility for execution of numerous marketing programs including developing promotional activities such as web seminars, trade shows, and partner events. Activities may include sales support, product advertising/promotion planning, developing and implementing multiple channel programs.
Professional Responsibilities:
- Manage marketing execution in support of organizational strategy and objectives. Manage, implement and execute marketing programs, which will include leveraging tools such as SalesForce.com, Marketo online marketing, Hubspot website optimization, Google Analytics, Jigsaw, Zoomerang and other best-in-class marketing tools.
- Ensure marketing communications are coordinated, including the development and distribution of all marketing collateral. Will support marketing plan objectives and meet organizational expenditure requirements in conjunction with Sales organization.
- Inform all sales personnel, including sales channel, of product changes, new products, assessories and other technical data necessary to understand and implement the product selling strategy.
- Execute the Company's marketing plan and achieve key milestone and revenue targets. Develop marketing collateral for use in both print and website.
- Coordinate and manage PR (press releases, product announcements, press industry analyst meetings)
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Must be a self-starter with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Excellent computer skills including all MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint) required. Existing knowledge of best-in-class CRM and marketing applications such as SalesForce.com, Marketo, Hubspot, Google Analytics, Jigsaw and Zoomerang highly desired.
- Must have strong skills in organization and planning, demonstrated ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment and problem solving.
- Must have broad functional experience in areas of marketing, business and market development, market research, planning and promotions/advertising.
- Must have a background in one or more of the following segments: Virtualization, Storage, Backup and/or Cloud Computing.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or related dicipline
- Minimum of 10 years' experience and a demonstrated track records of accomplishments
- Demonstrated ability to lead people and get results through others
- Ability to think ahead and plan over an annual time span
- Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
- Prior marketing development and product launch and deployment
- Problem analysis and problem resolution at both a strategic and functional level
- Technical skills in strategic planning and marketing, business and market development, market research and planning, and promotional advertising
- Must work effective with senior-level executives and staff
- Must have strong interpersonal skills and good judgment and be capable of communicating with a diverse range of individuals
Sales Systems Engineer (SE)

Position Summary:
Pancetera is a young software company within the virtualization space. We have a shipping product, our first paying customers, and we are quickly increasing the amounts of customers and prospects we communicate with. We are looking for a customer oriented SE with a strong technical foundation within Virtualization, Backup and Storage.
Professional Responsibilities:
- Supporting the sales process, including product demos, webinars, and POC's for both customer and partner opportunities
- Use customer feedback to provide input to the future direction of our products
- Serve as a group lead on specific assignments. Coordinate with other groups within Engineering Department and with other departments within Pancetera. Interface with outside vendors and customers.
- Maintain a demo environment to showcase our products in a clear, professional manner
- Technical interface to strategic partners like IBM, VMware, Riverbed and others
Education and Experience:
- 5+ years' experience as a Systems Engineer or other sales/customer facing role
- 3+ years' hands-on experience deploying and managing VMWare ESX/vSphere environments
- 3+ years' experience with Backup Software (NBU, Commvault, TSM, etc.) on both Windows and Unix platforms
- 3+ years' experience with Computer Networking (Ethernet, TCP/IP)
- Experience with Intel based servers & Fiberchannel/iSCSI/SAS storage arrays. Understanding of the storage market and storage concepts such as RAID
- Ability to prioritize and be productive in high-pressure situations, providing timely status updates to customers and/or project management
- Strong trouble-shooting ability. Ability to identify and solve problems in "down" situations.
- Strong communication skills
- Works independently, takes initiative, comfortable in a startup environment
- BSc in Computer Engineering or related field
Sr. Channels Sales Manager

Position Summary:
Pancetera is a young software company within the virtualization space. We have a shipping product, our first paying customers, and are ready to build a reseller channel to further accelerate our business. We are looking for an individual to develop and drive a reseller strategy for the North American market.
Professional Responsibilities:
- Working with Company management to craft overall channel strategy
- Recruiting, managing, and leading channel partners to drive partner revenue (VARs, distributors, regional systems integrators) according to defined objectives
- Managing all channel partners to success: providing effective sales support to the channel, designing effective channel compensation plans, preventing channel conflict. Following and supporting new resellers through first product sale and implementation
- Meeting or exceeding bookings targets for the channel
- Working effectively with internal teams (Engineering, Support, Marketing) to ensure outstanding levels of support to channel partners. Maintaining a reliable communication mechanism within internal teams to ensure efforts are in-line with objectives
- Acting as a conduit of information (product requirements, pricing, competitive data) from the field
- Analyzing sales and industry trends and making appropriate recommendations to ensure long-range planning needs are met
Education and Experience:
- Experience and proven track record of revenue generation in a software start-up: quota-carrying experience in both direct sales and indirect channel sales
- Strong rolodex within backup reseller channel, ideally IBM Tivoli TSM channel
- Strong work ethic; self-starter, independent
- Experience in virtualization a plus
- Bachelor's degree and 7+ years' professional experience
