We’re actively seeking a Senior Front-end Developer with incredibly strong HTML/CSS/Javascript skills to help push our creative and front-end team! We’re responsible for all the design, branding, and front-end coding work that go on behind the scenes here. Our team is casual, hard working, and passionate about what we do.

Qualifications:
We’re looking for someone with at least 3 years of experience in front-end development. You should know HTML and CSS inside and out, and be extremely proficient in Javascript. If all you can do is use jQuery to animate a piece of a page, this job isn’t for you. You know what causes a browser to repeatedly re-paint, and you know how to avoid it. You’re actually so far into this that you understand what ranges are in terms of cursor position, as well as the insane number of cross browser differences that come with it.
You thrive on taming and understanding browser quirks, and actively keep up with every new technology and advancement in the front-end world. You’re not turned away by the thought of several thousand lines of undocumented Javascript.
Skills and Requirements:
- Incrediblystrong HTML/CSS/Javascript skills
- Deepunderstanding of cross browser development issues (as well as theirrespective workarounds)
- Understandingof the Adobe Suite is absolutely required – our designers work exclusivelyin this set of programs.
- Bea team player – cowboys, rockstars, et all need not apply. Nobody “owns” aproject here; ask questions and work hard, but do it together.
- Bewilling to learn new concepts! The web never stagnates, and in this fieldthere’s something new to learn every day.
- Beable to think on your feet – we’ve got millions of customers to support,and sometimes we need to roll out a solution quick. How’s that forincentive?
- Mustunderstand the server side model – requests, responses, data types, and soforth.
Bonus skills (not required, but doesn’t hurt to have):
- Experiencewith Flash in general is a useful skill, but we tend to keep away from it– we’re all about open standards here, and we push them whenever possible.
- Abilityto write to an audience – we handle the presentation layer, and thisincludes everything that faces the user. Be prepared to get your handsdirty.
- Open-sourcecontributions are always an awesome thing to see!

You will be a member of a highly talented team of engineers focused on developing innovative consumer web applications for the Webs social publishing platform.
Responsibilities
- Design, build and test Spring MVC web applications from scratch front-to-back.
- Design efficient data models that can scale and optimize the data access using Hibernate and Spring templates.
- Create unit tests and integration tests using Spring Test Framework and JUnit 4.
- Develop software iteratively and deliver working code each iteration.
- Performance tune and scale web applications to handle 500K-1M pageviews per day.
- Work with product and design teams to come up with the best user experience and application flow.

The QA Engineer is responsible for writing comprehensive test plans and automated test scripts to help ensure that tools and features are as problem-free as possible for the millions of users of webs.com. The QA Engineer collaborates with developers and technical support staff to identify, verify, and resolve issues.

Qualifications
